Getting help

Write to the address above. If something is behaving wrongly, the most useful thing you can send is the app's own report: Settings → Report a problem → Share diagnostics. It contains the app version, your device model, iOS version, your settings without any weights, entry counts, an integrity check and a short log. It never contains your notes, and it never contains your weigh-ins unless you separately choose to attach the anonymised data export.

Common questions

Why does the trend disagree with the scale? That is the point. A single reading swings with water, salt and the time of day. WeightGlide shows the exponentially smoothed trend from The Hacker's Diet, which is what your weight is actually doing underneath the noise. Tap the ⓘ on any card to see exactly how the number was worked out.

The trend line says nothing useful yet. It needs roughly a week of daily weigh-ins before it settles. Before that it is mostly following your last reading.

How do I bring my history in? Settings → Import CSV. A file with a date and a weight per line is enough; the importer handles both comma and semicolon separators, decimal commas, dd.MM.yyyy dates, and files exported by the original True Weight app. Rows it cannot read are skipped and counted, not silently dropped.

How do I get my data out? Two ways, both in Settings. Export CSV gives you a plain file for a spreadsheet. Backup writes a complete JSON file — every weigh-in, plus goals, pace, maintenance range, Calm Mode and your goal history — which the app can restore from later. Your data is yours; neither is behind a paywall.

Apple Health. Settings → Apple Health sync reads and writes weight in both directions. Your own entries always win over a reading imported from Health for the same day. If you turn sync off, nothing already in Health is removed. The app works fully without Health access.

A weigh-in from my scale did not appear. Weight updates from Health are throttled by iOS — expect the day to appear within the hour rather than instantly. Opening the app pulls immediately.

I bought Pro and it is not there. Settings → WeightGlide Pro → Restore Purchases. The unlock is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID, with Family Sharing on, so it follows you to a new phone without an account of ours.

What is free and what is paid? Every weigh-in, all the trend mathematics, goals and paces, the chart, Apple Health sync, CSV import/export, full backup and restore, the weekly review and Calm Mode are free, and stay free. The one-time WeightGlide Pro unlock adds conveniences: widgets and Shortcuts, a daily reminder, phase markers on the chart, a PDF report, Face ID lock and alternate icons. There are no subscriptions and no ads.

How do I delete everything? Delete the app; all local data goes with it. Weight samples that reached Apple Health stay in Health, where you can remove them yourself — they are yours, not ours.

Privacy. Nothing leaves your device unless you export it yourself — a CSV or a backup goes wherever you send it from the share sheet. There are no accounts, no servers and no analytics. See the privacy policy.
